Bigg Boss 14’s Shehzad On Verbal Spat With Sidharth Shukla: ‘It Was Not His Place To Make Personal Comments’

Shehzad Deol became the second evicted contestant of Bigg Boss 14 after Sara Gurpal. While his stay in the house was short and sweet, there were some arguments which gave us a glimpse of the Punjabi model’s ‘angry young man’ side. Take his verbal spat with senior Sidharth Shukla, for instance. During the grand premiere, Nishant Singh Malkhani had condemned Sidharth’s aggression and disrespectful behavior towards women. Sidharth misunderstood and thought Shehzad had made the statement, not Nishant. Well, after an immunity task went wrong, Sidharth unleashed his fury and had a war of words with Shehzad.

Talking about the same to Pinkvilla, Shehzad stated, “That was actually not me, it was actually Nishant who said that but I think Sidharth mixed both our comments. I was not making any harsh or cheap comments against the person, but that person was raising her voice so to be able to be heard, I had to raise my voice. I was taken aback because it was not Sidharth's place to make personal comment about me. But I immediately got a lot of support from Hina and Gauahar which he did not agree with. I stood my ground, no matter what.”

However, when Shehzad was asked who the most ‘toofani’ senior was, he took Sidharth’s name. He explained that the season 13 winner was everywhere and if he wanted to make his point, he made it. Right or wrong was secondary.
