Bigg Boss 15: Salman Khan praises Pratik Sehajpal; slams Karan Kundrra for calling his choke slam a rugby tackle

One of the biggest highlights from the Bigg Boss 15 house last week, which made several headlines, was the choke slam Karan Kundrra gave to his housemate and friend Pratik Sehajpal during a task. Not just netizens but even ex contestants reacted to the incident on social media, where many demanded Karan’s eviction from the show. When no action was taken by Bigg Boss himself, audiences eagerly waited to see Salman Khan’s take on the situation on Weekend Ka Vaar. Well, the host did school Karan for his actions in last night’s episode, but he majorly praised Pratik for not reacting in a violent way.

When asked why Pratik didn’t react, he explained that he respects Karan very much and was hurt by his actions. He also made it clear that if Jay Bhanushali or Ieshaan Sehgaal would have done the same, he would have taken revenge even if it meant being evicted. Salman was pleased with Pratik and then spoke to Karan about how he defended his choke slam by calling it a rugby tackle. The superstar asked him which country allows a game of rugby on concrete, without safety gear. He went on to add that both the players should know they were playing rugby, which was obviously not the case here.

Karan replied that he is apologetic and feels bad about what happened. He went on to explain that he did not expect Pratik to destroy his BB points during the task and was hurt. Karan also shared that he was angry and called it a rugby tackle because he wanted to justify it to himself, but then the next morning he saw Pratik and how upset he was. He accepted what he did was wrong and was grateful Pratik did not get him evicted. Karan broke down as he added that Pratik affects him which is why he was the second person the actor called when he became a part of the show.

In the end, Karan apologized to Pratik and the latter gave him a tight hug. Meanwhile, Salman teased Ieshaan and Umar Riaz by saying that they are jealous of Pratik, as Karan is like their mentor. All’s well that ends well!
