Bigg Boss OTT host Karan Johar explains why FOMO is stopping him from becoming a contestant

Every year makers of Bigg Boss try to give the show a new twist to make it more interesting and appealing for the audience. Season 13 got an extension whereas ex-contestants from previous seasons returned to compete in season 14 as challengers. Well, ahead of season 15, makers have announced Bigg Boss OTT which is like a prelude to Salman Khan’s show. It will air on a digital platform for 6 weeks and will be hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar, before it premieres on television.

In a recent chat with Mid Day, KJo was asked if he would ever consider becoming a participant on the controversial reality show. To this, the popular and adored filmmaker replied, “I won’t be able to. My biggest fear is staying away from my kids, [Roohi and Yash]. I can’t imagine spending weeks without them because I will have FOMO if I were to stay away from them. They are the source of my happiness, and not being around them for long will kill me.” Isn’t that sweet?

Just yesterday in another interview Karan had stated that he can’t stay away from his phone for even an hour, which would make six weeks in the Bigg Boss house extremely difficult. Imagine all the things he could miss out on! Well, he may never be a contestant on the show but we sure are ecstatic about him being the host of BB OTT this year.
