Choti Sarrdaarni: Kratika Sengar Reveals Why She Would Have Refused If She Was Asked To Replace Nimrit Ahluwalia

A month ago, reports suggested that Nimrit Ahluwalia aka Meher has quit the popular show Choti Sarrdaarni and Kratika Sengar will be replacing her. However, in an interview Nimrit shared that she is still a part of the show. Well, fans were left confused after a promo of the show revealed that Kratika has in fact entered the Gill Mansion where the family was waiting to welcome Meher. It was then clarified that Kratika is only playing a cameo till the time Nimrit, who was unwell, recovers. Kratika even confirmed the same in a recent interaction.

While Kratika is one of the most adored actresses of television, she made it clear that she would not replace Nimrit to headline Choti Sarrdaarni even if she got the offer. Revealing the reason behind this in a chat with Spotboye, she shared, “This show is a brand and it was not like Nimrit Ahluwalia who was playing the character of Meher was not doing well. She was doing fantastically well. And this shows that whatever the serial is, it is because of the cast and since day one they are working really hard.”

She further stated, “Agar aisa kuch hota ki lead is not being accepted by the audience, so, I would have still thought of stepping into her shoes and replacing her but this girl Nimrit has done a fantastic job and she is a brilliant actor. But the only reason of her taking the break from the show was her health and in that case I could have never replaced anybody.”

Well, that’s a fair point. Don’t you think?
