Divyanka Tripathi Reveals She Once Slapped A Man For Touching Her Inappropriately At A Theatre

One of the most popular celebrities of our Indian television industry, the gorgeous Divyanka Tripathi began her journey as an anchor on All India Radio, Bhopal. She went on to try her luck at acting and rose to prominence with Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, in which she played a double role. The beauty soon became a household name and one of the most adored TV bahus with her performance in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.

Well according to her latest interview with Spotboye, Divyanka is not only a wonderful actress but also a badass. During the chat, she opened up about an incident when a man tried to take advantage of her and she lost her cool. She shared, “It happened in one of the theatres, these were the days when tickets were sold in Black at single screens. So, there should be a lot of rush. I had gone to watch a film, and was in the cue to buy tickets. There was this guy who was taking advantage of the crowd and touching me inappropriately.”

Divyanka further stated, “I lost my cool, held his hand, didn't even see his face. Woh bhaagane ke liye crowd se nikal ke jaa raha tha, but maine uska haath nahi choda aur ussi ke saath kheechti hui bahar tak aagayi. Uske baad maine uska chehra dekha. Of course, after that I slapped him hard and in no time public was all over him.”

Well, that sure is inspiring! Divyanka is clearly a strong, independent woman who can take care of herself and can also teach a good lesson to anyone who tries to get too smart with her.
