Exclusive: Abhinav Reveals How Bigg Boss 14 Helped Rubina & His Relationship; Feels Devoleena Should Have Been Evicted

Abhinav Shukla was undoubtedly one of the strongest and most popular contestants of Bigg Boss 14. So it was obviously shocking for fans when he was evicted from the reality show, along with his supporter Rahul Mahajan, during family week. What left fans even more heartbroken was the fact that Abhinav’s elimination was not based on audiences’ votes. Instead, it was a result of connections participating in the nominations task. Jasmin Bhasin, Jaan Kumar Sanu and Vindu Dara Singh felt he did not deserve to be in the show and hence nominated him. While we were sad that Abhinav had to leave, we sure were glad that all his marital problems with wife Rubina were sorted by the end of his journey.

For the uninitiated, during the immunity task Rubina had revealed that the couple was headed for a divorce before the show. Well a few episodes later, Abhinav had declared that he fell in love with Rubina all over again during their journey in the BB house. Talking about the same in an exclusive chat with Desimartini, he explained, “When you see people who fight so much, so often, and so fiercely then you realize that tumhaari khud ki jo small fights are like very petty. It was a joke, I told Ruby that once we go in you will realize that our fights are very petty and small, when you see people doing those big fights. And that’s exactly what happened. There were so many people who were creating issues, fighting on it, going to a level which was bad, that we of course had no option but to fall back and watch each other’s back. So that’s exactly what happened, it’s pure simple human psychology. That’s what happened and you know, we came out very strong. So Bigg Boss actually helped us, helped our relationship.”

When asked who should have been evicted from the show instead of him in his opinion, Abhinav stated, “Who should have been evicted? In my opinion it should have been Eijaz, his proxy Devoleena.” He went on to state, “It could have been between Rakhi or Devoleena.” Well, Abhinav’s opinion is similar to the audiences because reports suggest that Devoleena will be evicted from the reality show this weekend. As a result, Eijaz Khan will not get a chance to return to the show.
