Jasmin Bhasin Opens Up On Rashami Desai’s Entry In Naagin 4; Gushes Over Sidnaaz’s Chemistry In Bhula Dunga

The gorgeous and very talented Jasmin Bhasin won many hearts with her character Nayantara in the 4^th season of Ekta Kapoor’s supernatural thriller Naagin. However, fans were left heartbroken when her role came to an abrupt end. After a year’s leap, her character returned to the series for revenge as Shalakha, which is now played by Jasmin’s Dil Se Dil Tak co-star Rashami Desai. Soon after, rumors started doing the rounds which suggested that Rashami has ‘replaced’ Jasmin.

In a recent chat with Pinkvilla, Jasmin cleared the air and said, “Those reports did not bother me. My exit from the show was planned from day one, and so was Rashami's exit. When I signed for the role, I knew when and why will my character be bumped off. I was well aware of what was going to happen, and I was fine with it. It is not in her hands or my hands what is written about her. It was not her PR quote or byte, it was just written by random people. Both of us know the fact, so such criticism does not matter.” When asked if she would be interested in working with Rashami again in the future, Jasmin shared, “Yes, why not. It would be a pleasure working with her. She is a great actress and has phenomenal acting skills.”

The beauty also opened up about BFF Sidharth Shukla’s latest music video Bhula Dunga, co-starring Shehnaaz Gill. She stated, “Well, to be honest. I had watched the song before it was dropped, and it is just beautiful. Sidharth and Shehnaaz's chemistry is awe-inspiring. While Shehnaaz wins your heart with her innocence, Sidharth as the mature guy is too good to handle. I really like them together.” Talking about working with Sidharth once again after Dil Se Dil Tak, Jasmin said, “It would be great to work together again. Sidharth has a good sense of humour. He is witty and smart. It is always fun being around him. So, if we're offered a show in the future, I will definitely consider it.”

Meanwhile, buzz suggests that Sidharth will enter Naagin 4 pretty soon and will play the role of a snake charmer, opposite Rashami.
