Karan Patel Confirms The Arrival Of His Baby Girl, Says "I Am Numb, Overjoyed And A Little Intimidated”!

We had reported to you that Yeh Hai Mohabattein actor Karan Patel and wife Ankita Bhargava are now parents. The two welcomed their first child, a baby girl today morning. Karan and Ankita had been tight-lipped about the latter’s pregnancy and had not said anything when reports of the same were doing the rounds. But, now that the little princess has made her entry into the lives of these two, Karan could no longer hold back his emotions.

Talking to Bombay Times, the actor revealed how he is feeling about becoming a father. He said, “"I am numb, overjoyed and a little intimidated the only soul who has given me such emotions all at one go, Ankita is doing well and our families would like to thank each and everyone who have loved us and continue to bless us."

Ankita’s father, Abhay Bhargava, who is also a part of Yeh Hai Mohabattein and was the one who arranged the marriage between his daughter and Karan is just as happy to become a grand dad. Talking to the same publication, he said, “We are elated with the arrival of our granddaughter. Both the families — the Patels and the Bhargavas —- wanted a girl and God has blessed us with one. This is the best New Year’s gift we could have ever asked for.”
