Karan Singh Grover Recalls How Ronit Roy ‘Got Really Late’ Because Of Him While Shooting For Kasautii Zindagii Kay Part 1

Life has truly come to a full circle for Karan Singh Grover. He was a totally new kid on the block that no one really knew about him when he played the character of Sharad Gupta in the original Kasautii Zindagii Kay.

Now that he is all set to play the role of Mr. Bajaj in the reboot, Karan could not help but recall his memories of the original Mr. Bajaj, Ronit roy who immortalized the role. In a recent interview given to an entertainment portal, Karan remembered how he was the reason why a scene between him and Ronit Roy got delayed. He revealed, “So while we were doing Kasautii Zindagii Kay Part 1, we had a scene together where I go to him asking for his daughter Sneha's (Jennifer Winget) hand. I had many lines to say and he just had to listen. But I can't tell you how many retakes I took for that shot, I don't know why but I fumbled so much that a long delay became just inevitable.”

“Ronit stood patiently and lied to me that I can take it easy and not hurry but the fact was that he had to reach somewhere and was getting terribly late,” he added.

Ronit Roy has already made it know that he is very happy with the casting choice of Karan Singh Grover and Karan has also gone on records to say how it is impossible to reach the graph Ronit had created for the character. All we hope is Karan will do as good a job as Ronit and make this character memorable for this generation as well.
