Kasautii Zindagii Kay Star Parth Samthaan Tested Positive For Novel Coronavirus

Due to the nationwide lockdown, production of upcoming episodes of television shows was indefinitely stalled to avoid the spread of novel coronavirus. As the country slowly began ‘unlocking’, shoots of different shows and films also resumed. Parth Samthaan, who plays the role of Anurag Basu in Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay, also returned to the set to begin shooting. However, latest reports suggest that the actor has tested positive for novel coronavirus and the show will come to a halt yet again.

Parth recently began shooting again for the show and the entire team was taking all precautions and safety measures given by government authorities. Since the actor has tested positive for COVID-19, shooting has stopped once again and all cast and crew members have been requested to get tested. Well, the news comes as yet another shocker for fans today! Superstar Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan tested positive for the virus last night and just a while ago it was reported that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya are also COVID-19 positive. And now Parth has fallen prey to the virus.

Fans were extremely excited for Kasautii Zindagii Kay’s comeback on TV and were expecting lots of twists in the story with Karan Patel entering Anurag and Prerna’s lives as the new Mr Rishabh Bajaj. Guess the wait will be slightly longer this time. We hope Parth gets better soon and wish him a speedy recovery!
