Kasautii Zindagii Kay: Vivek Dahiya Breaks Silence On Reports About Him Replacing Parth Samthaan As Anurag Basu

One of the most loved and watched shows on Indian television, Kasautii Zindagii Kay has been the talk of the town since the past few weeks. It all started when Parth Samthaan aka Anurag Basu announced that he has tested positive for coronavirus and the shooting of the show came to an abrupt halt once again. When the actor got better and tested negative, fans expected him to resume shooting after a short break. However, rumors began doing the rounds about how Parth has bid adieu to KZK for good, to focus on other projects.

It was then suggested that makers have already started looking for his replacement and are considering popular actors such as Barun Sobti, Pearl V Puri and Vivek Dahiya to be the new Anurag Basu. While fans were heartbroken about Parth quitting the show, their hopes were lifted once again when these new names were suggested to replace him. However, Qayamat Ki Raat star Vivek has now clarified that he will not be a part of the show. In his latest interview with Zoom Digital, Vivek broke his silence on rumors about him replacing Parth and stated, “No that's not true.”

After reports of Parth quitting the show began doing the rounds, fresh rumors surfaced which suggested that his co-star Erica Fernandes aka Prerna Sharma has also decided to say goodbye to Kasautii Zindagii Kay. It was also said that Vivek’s wife and actress Divyanka Tripathi might replace her. However, Erica recently put these rumors to rest and announced that she is currently very much a part of KZK.
