Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 winner Arjun Bijlani hits back at trolls: ‘I did not win as the channel wanted me to win’

Even before the grand finale episode aired on television, the audience already knew that actor Arjun Bijlani has emerged as the winner of Khatron Ke Khiladi 11. While his fans were over the moon with joy to hear this news, there were a few netizens who were not happy with the decision. They accused makers and host Rohit Shetty of being partial towards Arjun and some trolls even referred to the actor as ‘channel ka damad’ (son-in-law). Well, Arjun has now clarified that the show is not based on who makers prefer, but on who performs stunts faster and better.

In a recent interview with Bollywood Life, the actor was quoted saying, “The finale stunt, I did it faster. The other day Divyanka (Tripathi) did some stunts faster. I was better on that day, the channel was not doing the stunt. Once people see it, they'll know it is a tough tough stunt, and Divyanka was caught in the net for a while. Everyone who saw the stunt knew I did it faster.” Explaining how fans want their favorites to win, Arjun added, “I did not win as the channel wanted me to win. It is odd to think or assume that's how all reality shows work. I take such comments with a pinch of salt.”

Talking about trolls who accused Rohit of being a biased host, Arjun stated that the filmmaker is an honest person and it would be impossible to cheat under his nose! Well, as they say, ‘kuchh toh log kahenge’.
