Krushna Abhishek Confirms The Kapil Sharma Show Will Return With New Additions In May; Deets Inside

In February this year, The Kapil Sharma Show went off air after the comedian welcomed his second child with wife Ginni Chatrath. Kapil announced the news of being blessed with a baby boy on Twitter and fans were ecstatic. The comedian also shared that he will be joining hands with Netflix for a special project and soon reports about his comedy show going digital began doing the rounds. It was being said that the show will go off television for good and will premiere on Sony LIV.

Well, Kapil’s co-star and fellow comedian Krushna Abhishek has now confirmed that The Kapil Sharma Show will return to television with a new season and new additions soon. In a report shared by ETimes, Krushna was quoted saying, “The show is returning to TV in May. We haven't finalised the date yet. Yes, there will be new things this time also. The set will go under a revamp. We will have a new set and there will be a few new additions also and I will give you good news about it soon.”

The actor, who plays the role of Sapna, also went on to add that he misses the show a lot. Krushna shared, “We used to have lots of fun and we never realised how the entire day would pass so swiftly. Kapil and I discussed a lot over the phone as we both want the show to return soon. He is also gearing up and excited that we will be doing the new season and new things.”

Well, just like Krushna, fans can’t wait to see the whole family of TKSS back on their TV screens!
