Kushal Tandon Opens Up About Rejecting Beyhadh Season 2; Reveals The First Place He’ll Visit After Lockdown

One of the most popular faces of Indian television, actor Kushal Tandon garnered a huge fan following with his character Arjun Sharma in the popular romantic thriller series Beyhadh, co-starring Jennifer Winget and Aneri Vajani. While the show made a comeback with its 2^nd season, featuring Jennifer, Ashish Chaudhary and Shivin Narang, it did not do as well as the previous season at the TRP charts. In fact, it was later announced that it will not be brought back to TV due to coronavirus lockdown.

Initially, fans were heartbroken because Kushal did not return with the new season. Well, in a recent chat with TOI the actor revealed the reason behind rejecting Beyhadh 2 and shared, “I haven’t seen it, though I was offered the second season too. I didn’t take up the project as the concept didn’t kick me as much as the first season did and I was also busy doing other projects at that time. But I would get my fans’ messages on how they were missing me. But the first season of Beyhadh is airing in Spain and America.”

Currently Kushal is spending some ‘me-time’ amid the lockdown at his boy’s den and doesn’t really mind home-quarantine or social-distancing, because he’s always been a private person. However, he is eagerly waiting for the lockdown to lift so he can travel to Lucknow and visit his parents who are all alone there.
