Mayur Verma Slams Devoleena Bhattacharjee After She Accuses Him Of Using Her Name To Gain Limelight

Ever since Devoleena Bhattacharjee shared her opinion on Shehnaaz Gill and Sidharth Shukla’s music video, Sidnaaz fans have been trolling the actress on social media. That’s not all. She has also been at a war of words with Mujhse Shaadi Karoge participant Mayur Verma, who slammed the actress for her statement against Sidnaaz’s chemistry and asked her to apologize. Well, Mayur recently took their fight to another level and filed a cybercrime complaint against Devoleena. The actress hit back by indirectly accusing him of using her name to gain limelight and even refused to recognize him. In her chat with a media portal, Devoleena stated, “I don’t know who this Mayur Verma is and why he is using my name everywhere.”

Now in a recent interview with Spotboye, Mayur opened up about the allegations and shared that he is surprised that she is refusing to recognize him. He stated, “Well, then just to refresh her memory, I am the person to whom she had said in one of her earlier social media posts that ‘show mein shaadi nahi hui to ye pagal hogaya hai’. This is when I took a stand for my friend Shehnaaz Gill when she was making allegations that Sidnaaz fans are abusing her and her family for commenting on Shehnaaz and Sidharth's chemistry. I also read her post yesterday saying ki media se request hai koi mujhse ispar sawal na pooche and khud jawaab bhi de diya.”

Mayur went on to state that the actress provokes trolls against him and he does not want her name to be tagged with him. He added, “If she is an actor from 8 years, so am I.  Agar Usne 5  TV show kiye hain, toh maine 9 kiye hain.”
