Mujhse Shaadi Karoge: Shehnaaz Gill And Paras Chhabra’s Suitors Sent Home Due To Coronavirus Pandemic

The Coronavirus outbreak has affected the entire world and sadly the number of cases has been rising constantly. Our country has registered nearly 110 cases so far and many cities are now on lockdown. The Indian entertainment industry has also been struck by the COVID-19 scare and releases of many anticipated films have been postponed indefinitely. Shooting of some films and television soaps is also on hold and the latest show to fall prey is Mujhse Shaadi Karoge.

Shehnaaz Gill and Paras Chhabra’s swayamvar show has been put on hold for now and according to the latest report in Spotboye, the contestants are being sent back home for their safety. A source was quoted saying, “Yes, the contestants are packing their bags right now and are going back home. Show was supposed to go of-air on March 27 but now it will most certainly be delayed.”

The portal also got in touch with J D Majethia, Chairman of IFDC, TV, who shared, "We have taken a call on the TV sector for sure. Bollywood and OTT I don't think have that much hurry to shoot, they don't have to deliver daily episodes. And as a precautionary measure, we are sure they won't shoot. As it is the entire release calendar has gone for a toss ever since the Coronavirus outbreak happened."
