Naagin 5 Actor Sharad Malhotra Recovers From COVID-19; Says ‘Negative Never Sounded So Sweet’

One of the most popular and adored actors of Indian television, Sharad Malhotra had been winning hearts as Cheel Veer in Ekta Kapoor’s supernatural thriller series Naagin 5. His bad boy character left us in awe and his chemistry with Surbhi Chandna became one of the biggest highlights of the show. Sadly, he had to take a break from work and quarantined himself at home after he tested positive for novel coronavirus a week and a half ago. Well, much to our delight the actor has bounced back like he promised! He took to his official social media handle to share that he has tested negative for COVID-19.

While Sharad was at home recovering, actor Dheeraj Dhoopar returned to the sets of Naagin 5. His character was introduced to give the story a twist till the time Sharad was fit to come back as Cheel Veer. Well, we have definitely enjoyed watching Dheeraj shine on-screen as Cheel Aakesh, but are super excited to have Sharad back!
