Naagin 5 Star Sharad Malhotra Didn’t Watch The First Episode As He Thought He Would Be Trolled

One of the most popular actors of Indian television, the handsome Sharad Malhotra has won many hearts with shows such as Banoo Main Teri Dulhann and Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki among others. Well for the very first time, Sharad is playing the antagonist in the latest season of Ekta Kapoor’s supernatural thriller series Naagin. His evil, dangerous yet sexy character Veer is a cheel who is falling head over heels in love with Naagin Bani aka Surbhi Chandna. Fans are absolutely loving him in Naagin 5 and have been showering him with appreciation since his very first scene.

Surprisingly, Sharad was initially apprehensive about playing a negative character. In fact, in a chat with Spotboye the actor has revealed that he was a little scared when Ekta offered him the role. He shared, “I did not want to watch the first episode and thought that I would be trolled. I think Ganpati preparations were going on at that time and late in the night when I finally saw it and the kind of response I was getting, I welled up a little. This kind of love, adulation and the frenzy I have seen after a long time and I am grateful for that.”

Sharad, who is known for his clean shaven look, revealed that he really wanted to keep a beard this time. So he had planned that he would try out this new look for his new character and things worked out perfectly when Naagin 5 came his way. Further talking about his appearance in the show, the actor stated that he lost 10kgs for the role and even wore contact lenses. Well the audience is loving the show, his avatar and his chemistry with Surbhi. We are now waiting to see what new twist arrives in their lives in the next episode.
