Nehha Pendse On Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain: ‘I Am Not Playing Saumya Tandon, I Am Going To Play Anita Bhabi’

After months of speculations and mystery about who will play the role of Anita Vibhuti Narayan Mishra after Saumya Tandon’s exit from Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain, Nehha Pendse finally shared the first promo of the show on social media. The actress looks gorgeous as ever as she makes a smashing entry into Aasif Sheikh aka Vibhuti Ahuti Narayan Mishra and Rohitash Gaud aka Manmohan Tiwari’s lives and fans could not have been happier.

But before the first episode airs, Nehha has made it clear that she won’t be mimicking Saumya. In a chat with ETimes, Nehha explained that the role of Anita Mishra was essayed by Saumya in the past, but for her it is as good as a new role. She shared, “Because many people are asking me this that are you going to do the same thing or will you bring your own element to the character. So I want everyone to know that I am an artist and not a mimicry artist. I am not going to mimic Saumya Tandon.”

She went on to add, “I am not playing Saumya Tandon, I am going to play Anita Bhabhi. Main Anita Bhabhi ke character ka joh dayra hai uss dayre mein reh kar usmein Apna ek nazariya dekar aur director ke guidance ke andar joh main ek apna perspective laa sakti hoon that’s going to be my efforts.”
