R.I.P Preksha Mehta: Karan Kundrra, Arjun Bijlani And Others Mourn Death Of The Crime Patrol Actress

Almost 2 weeks after Aadat Se Majboor actor Manmeet Grewal committed suicide, Crime Patrol actress Preksha Mehta decided to end her life. She moved back home from Mumbai to be with her family during the lockdown and was extremely worried about not finding work after the quarantine period ends. Her family revealed that she eventually fell into depression and hung herself. Hours before her death, Preksha penned a cryptic message and shared it on her social media handle.

Heartbroken by the news, television actors took to their official handles to mourn Preksha’s death with emotional messages. Among others, actor Karan Kundrra shared a hard-hitting post which read: “You were so young.. you had your entire life in front of you! We need to talk more about mental health.. A look at her Instagram shows nothing out of the ordinary, which just shows how much more we need to care about people around us in these tough times and not just assume they’re fine! RIP little one, we shall pray for you! This too shall pass!”

The nationwide lockdown is a tough time for us all, but it is the need of the hour to help stop the spread of novel coronavirus. While we can’t meet most of our loved ones, we should try and make it a point to give them a call and ask about their well-being.
