Rubina Dilaik Opens Up About Her Return To Shakti- Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki; Promises That It’s Not Just A Cameo

Rubina Dilaik’s fans were heartbroken when the beauty decided to leave the super hit TV show Shakti- Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, after headlining it for 5 long years. The actress then appeared on Salman Khan’s reality show Bigg Boss 14, garnered an even bigger fan following thanks to her unique personality and gorgeous smile and lifted the trophy of the season. Well recently, a promo of Shakti featuring Rubina aka Soumya went viral and set social media on fire. Fans are ecstatic to see Rubina return to the show and can’t help but hope that her role will be longer than just a cameo.

In a chat with ETimes, the actress shared that the only reason she had left the TV show was because after a leap, the responsibility of the plot was on someone else whereas she would have been sitting in the adjacent seat. It wasn’t challenging enough for her. However, now that she is returning, she will take the driver’s seat again. Rubina shared, “It happened just 2 or 3 days after I came out from 'Bigg Boss 14', I got a call from Rashami ma'am (Sharma, producer) and what she told me sealed my decision to return without me having to think even for a few minutes.”

Talking about the new track and her role, Rubina stated, “Now I have something exactly the way I had envisaged. That time around, the concentration was perhaps on the big leap they were taking. Jis soch ko lekar I had left the show, ussi soch ko respect karte the makers have got me back. I am very excited about my return. I have adopted my baby again. And let me tell you that it's not just for 3/4 episodes; it's going to be sufficiently long.”

Reports suggest that makers have also been trying to get Rubina’s co-star Vivian Dsena back to the show as well. He had left Shakti before her, as he was reportedly not comfortable playing father to an actor just eight years younger than him.
