Shaheer Sheikh on Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi 3: ‘As Dev's character evolved, so did I’

Shaheer Sheikh and Erica Fernandes won us over when they portrayed the roles of Dev Dixit and Sonakshi Bose in the 2016 show Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi. Their fresh on-screen chemistry and the unique and intriguing love story left the audiences wanting more. Well 4 years later, Shaheer and Erica have joined hands once again to take Dev and Sonakshi’s story forward with the third season of Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi. Times have changed and so has their relationship. After 10 long years, their unbreakable bond now comes with differences and growing distances.

In a recent chat with ETimes, Shaheer opened up about his character and shared how much he has grown with the show. The actor was quoted saying, “A person undergoes various changes not just physically, but emotionally as well through the course of his or her lifetime. As humans, we end up forging bonds with different types of people who end up teaching us in many ways. Any relationship has its journey. When I took up this show, I had a different perspective about a lot of things. But as the show progressed, I grew too.”

He went on to add, “As Dev's character evolved, so did I. I had a lot to take from Dev in terms of relationship and the challenges one might face. One big thing I have learnt is that communication is a key in a relationship -- be it as a lover, a son or as a parent.”

Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi season 3 will premiere on television on 12^th July. We can’t wait to see how Dev and Sonakshi fight against all odds and come out stronger than ever before.
