Sharad Malhotra On Naagin 5 Going Off Air: “Bidding Goodbye To Anything Is Heartbreaking”

Last year amid the pandemic, television’s queen Ekta Kapoor announced that her supernatural thriller series Naagin 4 starring Nia Sharma, Vijayendra Kumeria, Jasmin Bhasin and Rashami Desai will be going off air. It was replaced with season 5 of the show, which became a bigger hit with the audience. May it be Sharad Malhotra and Surbhi Chandna’s sizzling chemistry, Mohit Sehgal’s portrayal of a negative role or the gripping story line-- fans loved it all! But sadly all good things eventually come to an end, and so will Naagin 5.

The show will be going off air soon but a new segment titled Kuch Toh Hai - Naagin Ek Naye Rang Mein will be replacing it this week. Well just like fans, Sharad aka Cheel Veer is also sad about saying goodbye. In a chat with ETimes, he shared, “Bidding goodbye to anything is heartbreaking. The kind of adulation, love, appreciation and warmth I have received all these last six months has been beautiful. It has been so overwhelming. There is so much gratitude and love that I have. I want to thank so many people – my fans, viewers, Ekta (Kapoor) ma’am, the production, my cast and my co-stars.”

Sharad went on to state that his character Veeranshu Singhania will always be a part of him and it will be with him forever. He added that he is grateful and thankful to Ekta for making him a part of the Naagin 5 family. Well, we will definitely miss seeing Veer and Bani together on-screen. Won’t you?
