Shefali Jariwala, who rose to fame as the Kaanta Laga Girl, has participated in many reality shows over the years. May it be her stint in Boogie Woogie or Nach Baliye with husband Parag Tyagi, she has won our hearts each and every time with her solid personality and killer dance skills. In fact, this year she entered the Bigg Boss 13 house as a wild card contestant and left us in awe of her bold personality, passion to perform well and nok jhok with friend turned foe Asim Riaz. However, the actress has never been a part of a fictional TV show.

Talking about the same in a chat with TOI, Shefali revealed, “Well, you could call me selective. I should be able to relate to the character that I am expected to play, because TV is a long-term commitment. I believe in enjoying my work and I need to be excited about the character offered to me. This is one reason why I have stayed away from fiction. Though some very good roles have been offered to me, I haven't really been kicked about anything and I am willing to wait.”

Well rumors have been doing the rounds since quite a while about Shefali replacing Saumya Tandon as Anita Mishra in the super hit show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai. However, the actress has denied the rumors and has even clarified that she has not been approached by the makers yet. When asked if she would take up the offer if it came her way, Shefali stated that she would have to think about it as joining a show midway has its own pros and cons. She went on to explain, “Of course, it's an immensely popular show, but I need to think whether I’d be able to do justice to the character that has been played by Saumya for five years. It’s a tough call.”
