Shweta Tiwari Said Yes To Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 For This Reason; Reveals How She’s In Constant Touch With Her Children

Shweta Tiwari jetted off to Cape Town, South Africa last month to participate in the 11th season of Rohit Shetty’s stunt reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi. It has been a tough month for the actress. She misses her children Palak and Reyansh, who are back home, and was also in the news recently due to a controversy that stirred up after her estranged husband Abhinav Kohli accused her of abandoning their son. Well, the good thing is that Shweta is in constant touch with her children, who are also her biggest cheerleaders! In fact, her daughter is one of the reasons why she said yes to the show.

In a chat with ETimes, Shweta shared that she has participated in every reality show possible. Talking about the stunt reality show, she stated, “Khatron Ke Khiladi is a unique show in which you face your fears and attempt stunts that you don’t in your normal life. So, I decided to participate in it because of the element of adventure. Also, my daughter told me that if I didn’t take it up now, it would be too late for me to participate in this show in the future.”

She went on to share that she talks to her children every day and at night they sleep with their video calling app switched on so that they can see each other every time they wake up. Shweta was quoted saying, “We talk at every opportunity. I talk to my daughter before every stunt and after it to tell her how I have fared. My son wants me to get him a hippopotamus, which he calls ‘hippomonatus’ from South Africa to India for him. So, if in an episode I get to meet a hippopotamus, I am going to take him home, because my son wants it (laughs!).”

Well, Shweta has had the chance to make many new friends on this journey while fighting her fears through the show. We wish her all the very best as we eagerly wait for KKK11 to air on TV.
