In a recent chat with BT, Sunil was asked if he has any plans of working with Kapil Sharma in the near future or if there is any chance that he will reprise Gutthi’s much-loved character. To this, Sunil replied, “No, I am not reprising Gutthi. If Kapil and I are destined to work with each other again, we will. But, as of now, there are no such plans. Also, it is common for people to ask me something on Kapil, whenever I am doing a new show. We do occasionally talk to each other. A lot of time has passed since I exited his show, and time changes many things.”

The comedian also opened up about accepting pay cuts and shared how he feels that in the current scenario, we need to accept a pay cut, as what matters is going out and working. He further stated that we should let others also earn their daily bread. Sunil added, “I may sound preachy, but the current situation is compelling all of us to contribute to society in our own way. I also plan to donate my earnings from the show.”

Also starring Shilpa Shinde, Siddharth Sagar, Sanket Bhosale, Sugandha Mishra, Paritosh Tripathi and Jatin Suri, the show will reportedly not have a live audience or celebrity guests. Instead, Sunil will be seen playing the role of a don who wants to be entertained!
