Surbhi Chandna & Sharad Malhotra’s Naagin 5 To Go Off Air; Will Be Replaced By A New Vampire Show

Back in May 2020, it was announced that the 4^th season of Ekta Kapoor’s show Naagin, starring Nia Sharma, Vijayendra Kumeria, Jasmin Bhasin and Rashami Desai, will go off air as it failed to win the audiences’ heart. However, Ekta soon returned with Naagin 5, which became a super hit. Featuring Surbhi Chandna, Sharad Malhotra and Mohit Sehgal, the 5^th season topped TRP charts for many weeks and also garnered a huge fan following thanks to the lead pair’s sizzling chemistry. But sadly all good things eventually come to an end.

In a report shared by TOI, a source was quoted saying, “Naagin 5' will go off air in February after a six-month run. The date is not yet final. The team is already aware of the development. The last episode will be shot by the end of this month.” This will definitely break many hearts as the show has a huge fan following. Well, the report further reveals that Naagin 5 will be replaced by another one of Ekta Kapoor’s supernatural thriller series, most probably based on vampires.

While Naagin 5 will be missed by fans after it goes off air, we can’t wait to know more about the new vampire show. For the uninitiated, Ekta’s 2010 show Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani also revolved around the mythological creature. It followed the love story of a vampire and a human girl, played by Vivian Dsena and Sukirti Kandpal. We can’t help but wonder if the new show will be reboot, like Kasautii Zindagi Kay.
