Telly World's Newest Dad Kapil Sharma To Resume Work For His Comedy Show, To Shoot With Deepika Padukone

Kapil Sharma, who has become a household name with the show Comedy Nights With Kapil, is all set to return to the sets of his show and resume shoot from today despite becoming a father to a baby girl only a day back. Dedicated to keeping his shoot schedule intact, Kapil will leave behind his newborn daughter and shoot for two episodes on Wednesday and Thursday.

Kapil Sharma had scheduled the shoot for Comedy Nights with Kapil with Deepika Padukone for Chhapaak on Wednesday and with the team of Good Newwz on Thursday. According to a report by Mumbai Mirror, he has told his team to stick to the schedule. A source was quoted saying, “He was supposed to shoot for an episode of The Kapil Sharma Show with Deepika Padukone on Wednesday and another one with Good Newwz gang on Thursday. When the production team reached out to him, he assured them that the shoot will go on as per schedule."

Kapil Sharma’s Firangi director, Rajiev Dhingra also became a dad on the same night as Kapil. He has revealed more details to the same daily and said, “Our rooms are next to each other. Ginni had a natural delivery, while my wife went through a C-section. Kapil was a bit stressed on Monday night, but everyone is really happy now.”

Talking about the feeling of becoming a dad for the first time, Kapil had revealed to Bombay Times, “I am ecstatic. I haven’t slept in two days. I am suffering from a bad cold and cough. So, I am not even sure whether I can hold my baby. The feeling is beyond words. Ginni and I always wanted a girl and we are happy that we’ve been blessed with one. We can’t thank God enough for our beautiful angel.”
