The Kapil Sharma Show: You’ll Be Surprised At How Many Film Offers From Anil Kapoor The Comedian Has Rejected In The Past; Watch

Bollywood superstar Anil Kapoor has been winning hearts with his spectacular and very real performance in Netflix’s latest original, AK vs AK. Also starring filmmaker Anurag Kashyap in the lead along with Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Harshvardhan Kapoor and Yogita Bihani in supporting roles, the black comedy thriller uses a film-within-a-film narrative where the team plays fictionalized versions of themselves. Well, to promote the film, Anil reached the sets of Kapil Sharma’s show this week.

They had a gala time together and Anil Kapoor also revealed that he has offered many films to the comedian in the past, including the 2017 rom com Mubarakan starring Arjun Kapoor and Priyadarshan’s Tezz. They even talked about the time Anil offered his thriller series 24 to Kapil, but the latter had to decline because he had just started his own show. They then decide to share the screen as a father-son duo sometime in the future.

Kapil even jokes that they look similar because their eyes get shut when they laugh. However, he goes to on to add that he’s worried about sharing the screen with AK as his on-screen son because he might end up looking like Anil’s father! Well, seeing them have so much fun on the show makes up hope they do a film together very soon! What do you say?
