5 Independent Comedians You Can Follow Instead Of Watching Reruns Of The Kapil Sharma Show!

2017 did not prove to be a great year for many TV celebs. One of such celebrity is Kapil Sharma . At first, we had been happy that he will finally get engaged to the love of his life, Ginny Chatrath very soon. But it was soon realized that the announcement was made to cover up for a big fallout that had taken place between Kapil and fellow comedian Sunil Grover . It soon came to the public eye that Kapil had misbehaved with Sunil in an inebriated state and that the latter had decided to quit the show.

Kapil Sharma’s life just took a downward spiral thereafter. The TRPs of his show began to fall, there were reports that he is not being able to keep up with his schedule and that he would turn up late in every event. Eventually, he took a break from the show and The Kapil Sharma Show went off air. Fans had been thinking that he would soon get back on track with his Bollywood film, Firangee, but that too did not take off.

While we can only hope that 2018 proves to be better to him and that he makes a comeback really soon, fans are missing the good comedy show that would be aired in the evenings. So if you were a fan of comedy and is missing the Kapil Sharma show badly, here are 5 independent comedians you can follow meanwhile and keep the dose of laughter in your life intact:

    1.  Zakir Khan

Life pokes fun and makes a joke out of us all the time. Zakir Khan has the rare ability to make a joke about life in return. His kind of comedy is very different. He is like a story-teller who would narrate various incidents and anecdotes from his life and evoke genuine fun from even the most pathetic situation. He is a 'shakht launda' indeed.

    2. Abish Matthew

He is still a part of the comedy group, All India Bakchod, but we love his show, Son of Abish not just for the fun stuff that he makes the guests do, but also for the anecdotes he makes them narrate.

    3. Sumukhi Suresh

Miss Behti Naak is basically all of us, just a little more vindictive and sarcastic. Sumukhi has also appeared in many other shows and we just love her.

    4. Varun Thakur

He is two in one. We love Varun and we love to hate Vicky who is a self-proclaimed ‘sexist’.

    5. Kanan Gill

Kanan made his Bollywood debut with Noor, but if truth be spoken, we love him more as a stand up comic. He is intelligent and we love how he delivers his punchlines!
