Our TV offers us a variety of daily soaps. While the TV serials in the early 90s had good content and were varied, from the new millennium, the shows took a Saas-Baahu turn after Ekta Kapoor stepped in. If we now turn on the TV, we would not see more saas-baahu drama but an abundance of supernatural shows and other shows with forced supernatural effect (remember Sasural Simar Ka?). 

Well, many shows like Sasural Simar Ka where Simar turned to a makkhi and later was pregnant with the child of the devil or Thapki Pyaar Ki where a gorilla fell in love with the lead female character Thapki might have gone off air,but our TV shows are still full of stuff that still makes us question basic human intelligence. From the lookalike of the giant in Game of Thrones to daayans to Indianised medusas, our TV has everything.
