Abhinav Kohli Sends Estranged Wife Shweta Tiwari A Legal Notice Of Defamation After Desperately Trying To Meet Their Son

TV actor Abhinav Kohli has been persistent in his demand to meet his son Reyansh who he claims have been moved to an ‘undisclosed location’ by his estranged wife and actress Shweta Tiwari. He has been posting on social media consistently stating that Shweta wants to keep their son away from him and he has had no contact with his 4-year-old after he spent a week with him recently.

On Monday Abhinav went live from his social media handle when he was right outside Shweta door where he rang and bell knocked and even called out for his son but in vain. He has now told India Today in an interview that he has sent a legal notice of defamation to his estranged wife for falsely implicating him of harassment which led to their separation. "If Shweta doesn't respond to the notice in 14 days, I'll decide on the further course of legal action against her,” he told the publication.

The actor says he is portrayed as the bad guy because Shweta is a celebrity. He also revealed that he managed to meet his son on Tuesday after his efforts but only for a few minutes. "Reyansh needs his father as much as he needs his mother. Today, I met him after a week. But Shweta took him away from me in just a few minutes."

Abhinav is of the opinion that laws that are set in place to protect women are sometimes used unfairly pointing out that his is one such case. He says, “More than the women who really need such laws, these are exploited by some clever women. That's why these laws end up being dangerous and unfair towards men."
