Abhinav Shukla Recalls The Time He Fell Asleep While Driving, Says 'That Scary Thing Still Flashes In Front Of Me'

Road accidents are still one of the biggest reasons for loss of lives not just in the nation, but throughout the world. There are so many young lives that are lost due to road mishaps, and quite a few of these happen when a driver falls asleep while driving. This is way more common than we would want it to be. Now, Bigg Boss 14 participant and actor Abhinav Shukla recalled the time when something similar happened to him.

Abhinav, who is currently in Cape Town shooting for Khatron Ke Khiladi 11, remembered the time when he had fallen asleep while driving. In an interview with Zoom, he said, “I remember once I was driving down from Punjab to Mumbai and I was somewhere in Rajasthan, I had crossed Jaipur. People had told me a lot of times, the drivers tend to sleep on the wheel. And I actually slept on the wheel. So, that scary thing still flashes in front of me.” He also added that when he woke up, he found that the car was in the middle of the road. He also cautioned all and said that one should stop the car and take a nap, rather than putting lives at risk.

Well, we are glad that Abhinav came out unharmed, but yes, it is important to stop the car by the side of the road and take a rest if necessary, rather than rushing into things.
