Akshara Singh on her horrific past: "Humari izzat humare bhitar hai, logon ke nazron me nahi"- EXCLUSIVE

Akshara Singh had been a popular name in the Bhojpuri industry, but after some time, she decided to come to Mumbai to make her name in pan India. She started out with TV shows and finally participated in Bigg Boss OTT, where she received massive love and fan following. Akshara Singh is thankful for the love, but to reach this needed a lot of struggle from her end. She had opened up about how her ex made sure that she never receives offers and tried not just to end her career but also harm her life. She claimed to have men following her with acid bottles. In an interview with us, she recalled the horrific time.

Talking to us, Akshara said, “Main woh waqt ko aapse bayan nahi kar sakti shabdo me. Aap baat kar rahe ho aur mujhe goosebumps aa rahe. Main aaj aap ke samne khadi hoon yeh mere jeewan ki bohot badi upladhi hai. Mer opens i koi galti nahi thi, maine kuch galat nahi kiya tha-bas apne liye stand liya tha. Iss cheez ko galat portray kiya gaya ya logon ke liye galat ho gayi ki ‘yeh kaise ladh rahi hai. Isko khatam hi kar dena chahiye ya industry se out karna chahiye. Bohot saari cheeze huyi uss time pe, jo main prarthana karti hoon ki aisa samay kisi bhi ladki ke jeewan me na aaye.”

When we told her that she showed exemplary confidence in deciding to fight back despite everything being against her, she said, “Ek point of time ke baad aisa huya ki maut se darr hi khatam ho gaya. Maine kaha ‘ab kya hi karoge, chalo mar hi do ab koi darr nahi hai jeewan me. Woh eka lag confidence mere andar se aaya. Abhi mujhe bohot mukaam haasil karna hai, bohot ladna hai.”

She suffered from depression too. Talking about the message she would like to give others, she said, “Main bas jo bhi ladkiya hai, jo bhi mujhe dekh rahi hai ya feminist k liye jaisa stand maine rakha hai, kahi hadh tak zindagi dekh kar, zindagi se ladkar, logon se ladkar jo bhi chota mota mukaam haasil ki hoon, main bas ek line kehne chahti hoon un ladkiyo ko- aapki izzat apke bhitar hai. Logon ke nazariye se koi fark nahi padhna chahiye. Jiban me aap kis tarike se survive kar rahe ho, kis tarike se dikh rahe ho, kis tareeke se reh rahe ho iss cheez ka koi fark nahi padhna chahiye. Logon ke nazron me nahi hai humari izzat, humari izzat humare bhitar hai. Past k liye kya hi batau- everybody knows about it. It’s okay. Main aagey badna chahti hoon, aur ladna chahti hoon.”
