Amidst Lockdown, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Bags Top Spot In The TRP List Of The Week

The TRPs of TV shows for this week is here! This had been a testing week where only a few new episodes had been aired and due to the lockdown, the slots have been dedicated to reruns of old show. However, the TRP list shows just how popular Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and its spin-off, Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke are because guess what, these two have taken the top two slots!

Yes, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai nagged the top spot of the week followed by Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke. On the third position was Ek Duje Ke Vaaste, whose season 2 is being aired now.

The fourth and the fifth spot were taken by Nia Sharma’s Naagin 4 and Jennifer Winget starrer Beyhadh 2, that was followed by Kasautii Zindagi Kay on the sixth spot. Pavitra Bhagya took up the sevent position and was followed by Choti Sardaarni, that had dropped a few spots. The Kapil Sharma Show and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma took up the ninth and tenth spot respectively.

With the nationwide lockdown now extending till 14^th April, the TV viewers would have no new episodes for quite a long time and would have to do with reruns of old shows. The TV industry also faces a huge loss due to the lockdown, but safety is of the utmost concern even for the makers.
