BB14: Rakhi Sawant Says She Got Married To Husband Ritesh For His Bank Balance: I Had Not Seen Him, Nor Had Spoken To Him

It has been over a year since Rakhi Sawant surprised her followers by announcing she’s tied the knot to an influential businessman named Ritesh. While there have been several reports since speculating the reasons behind their hasty marriage, Rakhi herself came forward to give a few answers during a Bigg Boss 14 press conference held within the house as to what led to her decision to tie the knot.

Rakhi who is often seen frolicking around Abhinav Shukla in the house accepted that financial security was a big reason for her to get married and an influential person was on her back planning her abduction and threatening her.

During the press conference, she shared, "I am a married woman, I am waiting for my husband. There were a few issues in my life and that's why I had to get married urgently. People urgently go for shopping, they do break-up on urgent basis and I was in a situation where I had to get married urgently. There is a famous and influential person in India whose name I can't take, if I had not got married, that person would have abducted me. He had even threatened me and I did not file a police complaint about it."

"If I share his name, he will abduct me from this Bigg Boss house. My husband Ritesh is not at fault anywhere I had requested Ritesh that I want to get married to him. I had not seen him, nor had spoken to him, I just saw his bank balance,” she added.

Talking about never having revealed her husband’s identity Rakhi said that it is her husband choice who doesn’t want to reveal his face in the media as he feels he be mocked and insulated. Despite her insistence her husband feels getting divorced is better than feeling insulted and facing losses due to it in his work and therefore she keeps quiet about it.
