Bharti Singh Dropped From The Kapil Sharma Show Post Drug Probe? Here's What Comedian Kiku Sharda Has To Say

Bharti Singh and husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa who were recently arrested by the NCB in a case of alleged drug consumption might see some more trouble lined up ahead. The comedian who is popular face on The Kapil Sharma Show has reportedly been dropped from the show after her recent run in with the law.

Haarsh and Bharti were arrested following a raid by the Narcotics Control Bureau at their residence a few weeks ago and after spending a night behind bars they were granted bail. The NCB reportedly recovered 86.5 grams of marijuana from Bharti and Haarsh’s properties after a tip off from a drug peddler.

According to a Spoteboye report the channel wants to keep The Kapil Sharma Show a controversy free zone following which the decision of removing Bharti from the show has reportedly been taken. Kapil who is close friend of Bharti’s is had to be opposing the decision of the channel and standing up in her defence.  A source close to the portal informs, “It’s pretty much decided Bharti will be kept out of the show. Kapil’s show is a family show. They need laughs free of controversy."

Comedian Kiku Sharda who is also a member of the troop in The Kapil Sharma Show, however, reacted to reports of Bharti being ousted from the show and told Bombay Times, “We shot yesterday, and she wasn’t there at the shoot. But that’s quite normal as she doesn’t shoot with us for every episode." He further added that he’s not heard of Bharti being dropped from the show, In fact, I haven't heard of any talk of her not being a part of the show. She just wasn’t there yesterday at the shoot and that’s about it.”

For Bharti’s sake we hope that Kiku is right.
