The COVID-19 pandemic may have deterred many plans in the telly world but Bigg Boss 14 is right on track. The Salman Khan show might see many big changes but the show certainly will bring back the audiences to TV for watching yet another season of new celebrities co-habiting in the Bigg Boss house and churning out controversy.

A part of the changes pertain to how the show is conducted but the fee structures of the celebs may also see changes. However, Salman Khan who continues to host the show for the 11th time in a row is taking home a big fat cheque to Rs. 250 crores according to recent reports.

Bigg Boss 14 will reportedly start rolling from October.  According to a Bollywood Hungama source, “Salman Khan is the highest paid actor on the small screen and for season 14, he is being paid Rs 250 crore. The actor will be shooting once a week, two episodes a day, for 12 weeks and the amount per day of shoot is as high as Rs. 20.50 crore, which averages to Rs. 10.25 crore per episode. Like every year, it’s a blanket deal with Salman, which also requires him to be present at certain award shows of the television channel.”

Salman minted nearly Rs. 200 crores from hosting Bigg Boss 13 in 2019 which turned out the show’s biggest season yet. In 2018 the Bollywood superstar was paid Rs. 165 crores for the entire season.

Two promos of the show have already been released and the show promises to fight for entrainment in the rather depressing 2020.
