Bigg Boss 9's Priya Malik Reveals Why She Kept Divorce And Subsequent Engagement To Karan Bakshi A Secret For A Year

Bigg Boss 9’s fierce and outspoken contestant Priya Malik took fans by surprise after she announced her engagement to entrepreneur Karan Bakshi a year after it actually took place. Not just that Priya also managed to keep the news of her divorce from her first husband under wraps and has now finally decided to open up about it all.

Talking about her divorce and finding love again Priya told Bollywood Life, "This is going to be my second marriage. And I had not announced my divorce publicly. So I was being really private about our relationship. And since our relationship has finally been accepted, we decided to make it public."

On 28 October Priya shared a post on the anniversary of her engagement. Talking about her relationship with Karan and her engagement and told the portal, "It was a very intimate setting. We had like 25 people only because both Karan and I are private and low-key people. We both wanted it that way. It took place in a Chhattarpur gurudwara and then we had a little garden booked where the engagement dinner took place in the presence of more family than friends."

Priya and Karan were neighbors in the same building and have decided to get married next year around Diwali.
