Deepika Singh's Mother Tests Positive For Covid-19, Unable To Find A Bed In A Quarantine Facility; Actress Seeks Help

Diya Aur Baati Hum fame Deepika Singh recently posted a video on Instgram revealing that her mother who is in Delhi has been tested positive for covid-19 and is unable to find a bed in a quarantine facility to get the necessary treatment and remain isolated.

The TV actress who is presently in Mumbai is unable to fly to Delhi to be with her mother and therefore asked CM Arvind Kejriwal to help her with the situation. She also spoke about the worsening situation and lack of beds in the national capital and the difficulty her family is facing due to lack of physical reports.

Deepika’s mother can’t quarantine at home as she lives with 45 people according to the actress and the hospital where she got tested has not been admitting patients due to lack of a physical copy of the test report, which the hospital itself hasn’t issued. Her post read, “The test has been done in Lady Hardinge hospital & they didn’t give reports . They only allowed my father to click its picture.”

The actress shared her husband Rohit Goyal’s number too for help.

Delhi has so far reported over 36,000 cases of coronavirus with the numbers climbing daily.
