Disha Parmar bags the lead role opposite Nakuul Mehta in Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2 after Divyanka Tripathi passes it up?

The Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara co-stars Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar are all set to reunite on-screen. Or that’s what the latest reports suggest.

As is well known by now that the popular show Bade Acche Lagte Hain is all set to return to television with a second season and a brand new cast. After Divyanka Tripathi reports now have it that actress Disha Parmar has been roped in as the leading lady for the show according to a Spotboye report.

While Nakuul Mehta has been finalized as the male lead on Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2, Disha’s addition to the show as the female lead will definitely makes it a casting coup. The pair has already proven their chemistry on Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara and if true this reunion will certainly be an epic one for their fans.

Divyanka Tripathi was also in the running for the part but admitted that she had to decline the part after a look test. She said that she couldn’t relate to the part and also agreed that she look older than Nakuul on-screen as the actor has already bagged the part for the male lead.

Bade Acche Lagte Hain originally starred Sakshi Tanwar and Ram Kapoor in the lead and was huge success on TV. The show ran from 2011 to 2014.
