Doordarshan’s New Show Loktantra Promises To Turn The Tables Against The Leading GECs

Well, it has come to our knowledge that the maker of path-breaking films like Pinjar and serials like Chanakya and Mohalla Assi is going to come up with yet another profound series called “Loktantra”.

As the name suggests the serial will deal with the issues of the Indian democracy and everything that the common man deals within a democracy! The news is, everyone who has watched the rushes are going gaga over it and are very enthused about the launch of the series on the tube. One such eminent personality who happened to chance over the series was Lok Sabha speaker, Sumitra Mahajan. The lady was so impressed with what she saw and experienced that she promised to bring many more seasons of it!

And what’s more, the prime minister Mr Narendra Modi will be launching the series on the Independence Day 2018!

The 80s and 90s audience will surely remember the kind of path-breaking content in the serials telecast on Doordarshan and it has been a long time that the Indian television has been lacking on meaningful material and after all these years, we hope Doordarshan will surely fill that gap!
