Ekta Kapoor's Kumkum Bhagya, Kasautii Zindagii Kay To Resume Shoot From June 26?

The TV industry after facing a huge slump due to the covid-19 pandemic is ready to resume business after the government of Maharashtra granted permission to allow shoots. The actors are gearing up to get back on sets and embrace the ‘new normal’ which includes a smaller unit and lots of precautions.

Popular shows of Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms are now ready to resume shoots. Kumkum Bhagya, Kasautii Zindagii Kay and Naagin 5 might begin shoot from June 26 according to a recent report in Pinkvilla.

Although the makers are doing everything in their capacity to ensure the safety of the cast and crew and taking all precautions before people get back on sets for work, Kasautii actress Erica Fernandes had earlier spoken about her apprehensions of getting on sets and said she’s not ready. The actress had told the portal, “I am not up for it, not now at least, maybe a little later yes, and this is due to multiple reasons.”

The shows leading man, Parth Samthaan, on the other hand, has been in Hyderabad since Eid and if the show indeed is going on floors soon he might have to return to Mumbai soon.

As for Naagin, the fourth season of the show was called off during the lockdown and the makers are brining an entirely new show with the new season. There have been many names that have cropped up to play the lead of the show and we guess we’ll know more soon if Naagin 5 begins shoot on June 26.
