Four Years After Controversy With Colors, Kapil Sharma's Comedy Show Returns To The Channel; Fans Don't Miss The Irony

When we think of Kapil Sharma and Colors channel together is not hard to be reminded of the big rift that pulled them apart and led the comedian to find another channel for his gigs. While Kapil found Sony and all was forgotten over the course of four years, it is during the time of the coronavirus crisis that Kapil Sharma is making a return on Colors.

As new episodes of daily soaps a not being shot, the channels are bringing back their best shows to make up for the loss. First Colors brought back Bigg Boss 13 that ended recently in February and now they have gone ahead and decided to bring back Kapil Sharma’s Comedy Nights with Kapil back.

The irony of matter was not lost on fans when the channel shared a promo on Twitter announcing the re-run of the show, “Ab phirse hasega saara parivaar saath because @KapilSharmaK9is back #ComedyNights with Kapil is back with a bang, watch it every Sat- Sun at 6:30 only on #Colors.” Several fans of commented on the tweet remembering the controversies that ended Kapil’s stint on the channel.

For fans it means they’ll be able to watch the comedian on two channels now, The Kapil Sharma Show on Sony TV and re-runs of old Comedy Nights where they can also revisit Sunil Grover and Kapil’s banter on the show that everyone misses so much.

Comedy Nights With Kapil went off Colors in 2016 after the channel miffed Kapil by starting Comedy Nights Bachao with Krusha Abhishek and Bharti Singh in competition to his already running show and also drove a wedge between Krushna and him.
