Giaa Manek To Return As Gopi Bahu In Saath Nibhana Saathiya Prequel? Read Deets

Saath Nibhana Saathiya had a successful run for 7 years and during this time, the audience had seen two Gopi Baus- Giaa Manek (the OG) and Devoleena Bhattacharjee who later replaced her. When the second season of Saath Nibhana Saathiya aired, it was Devoleena who returned as Gopi. But now, audience might get to see Giaa as Gopi too as she is reportedly set to return with Saath Nibhana Saathiya's prequel, which will be made by a different production house.

When asked about whether the news is true or not, Giaa told ETimes, "I have a few projects in hand. Destiny will decide which one I will choose. As of now, I can't comment on this. If everything gets confirmed then I will be happy to share the good news. And it could be any show."

A source further added that the original cast including Mohammad Nazim and Vandana Vithlani. While Nazim said that things are yet to be finalised, Vandana confirmed being a part. The source said, “Ved Raj, who is producing the show, was one of the writers of the original edition of SNS. He has worked on an original script but has retained certain elements, including a few members from the original cast. Barring a few actors and some elements, everything is original about the new show. While Giaa, Nazim, and Vandana are on board, we are in the process of finalising the deal with Rupal. Nazim will play Giaa’s husband in the new show. It will be a fairy tale romance on the lines of the story of Cinderella, whose life will change for the better after she meets her Prince Charming.”

Rupal Patel is yet to come on board.
