Once in a while, Indian daily soaps bring in some excess drama in the form of some over the top scenes which then stay alive the memories of people as memes. Just like Gopi bahu’s laptop washing or Simar turning into a fly the makers of Ishq Mein Marjawan 2 recently gave the audiences something to make memes about.

In a recent plot twist, Helly Shah falls, fits and gets locked into a suitcase on the show and as the promo circulated so did the jokes. Helly has now responded the much talked about suitcase sequence and told Bombay Times that she takes the meme fest ‘sportingly’ and added defended the inclusion of the sequence saying, “We incorporated that scene to create some drama and intrigue the audience. Some sequences can come across as funny or exaggerated, and in a daily soap, not everything can be relatable. As an artiste, my job is to play the part convincingly.”

The actress also spoke about the internet’s big question ‘how did she fit into the suitcase?’ She says, “That’s exactly what my mother asked me after watching the scene. I don’t know how, but I fit into the first suitcase that was brought on the set despite wearing a heavy lehenga. Having said that, it wasn’t as easy as it looks. Though not at a stretch, I was inside that suitcase with my body contorted for about 45 minutes. I had a terrible neck pain a day later.”

Well, the makers have definitely attracted a lot of attention towards the show with this viral scene so funny or not one could say that they did manage to accomplish their mission.
