Himani Shivpuri Tests Positive For COVID-19, Zain Imam Tests Negative

The spread of coronavirus in Bollywood and TV industry has increased manifolds in the past few weeks. Celebs like Raftaar, Sara Khan, Aftab Shivdasani, Himanshu Soni, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora have revealed that they have contracted the virus and are currently recovering. Now, even Himani Shivpuri, who was working in Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, has also tested positive for the virus.

Taking to her social media, she wrote, "I have tested positive for COVID, anyone who has come in contact with me should get themselves tested." See the post here:

On the other hand, Zain Imam tested negative for the virus. He had been working with Aftab Shivdasani for a project in Lonavla. Talking to TOI, he said, "I have tested negative. However, as a precautionary measure, I am still not stepping out because preliminary COVID tests aren’t always precise, because sometimes symptoms take time to develop. So, as a responsible citizen, I am not going out unnecessarily. Although I am absolutely fine, I will get the antibody test done in a few days.”

We hope that Himani Shivpuri recovers soon and are relieved to know that Zain is safe. India is showing a spike in the number of corona cases even though it has slowed down throughout the world.
