Indian Idol 12: Aditya Narayan Admits Arunita & Pawandeep's Romantic Angle Is Fake, Asks 'But You Enjoy It No?'

Indian Idol 12 contestants Arunita Kanjilal and Pawandeep Ranjan’s relationship has garnered a lot of attention on the show lately. While the show makers are trying to tease viewers with a romantic angle, the singer and the host of the singing reality show Aditya Narayan admitted it is all cooked up.

Last season, Aditya Nayaran and judge Neha Kakkar were relentlessly linked together on the show to the point of his parents Kumar Sanu and Deepa Nayaran visiting the show and blessing the match. After this entertainment gimmick rumours mounted on about their wedding and everyone was busy refuting them.

Talking about Arunita and Pawandeep’s link up on the show the singer told Bollywood spy, “Hum masti karte hai (We are just having some fun). People say that we cook up make-believe affairs on reality shows. So what? Did we ever say no? We do it. Ye dhong hai (This is all lie). But you enjoy it no? Because we love to do it." 

Talking about the flak these TRPs generating gimmicks on the show draw on social media, Aditya compared the whole thing to the drama on daily soaps and meant only for entertainment and how after saying cut the actors go back home to their real life partners and it never offends anyone.
