Indian Idol 12: Neha Kakkar, Vishal Dadlani, Himesh Reshammiya Could Be Away From The Show A Lot Longer Than You Think

With shoots for TV shows coming to a standstill in Maharashtra for now, producers have been busy scouring alternate places to move their shows. While many daily soaps have already moved base, singing reality show Indian Idol 12 has also moved production out of Mumbai recently.

For those who have been missing the show’s terrific trio, Himesh Reshammiya, Neha Kakkar, and Vishal Dadlani in the judges' seat recently, the wait might be a bit long. The makers flew out all the contestants and makers of Indian Idol 12 to Daman which includes host Aditya Narayan but unfortunately the three judges couldn’t join them. Anu Malik and Manoj Muntashi stepped in instead to fill their vacant seats and looks like they might be carrying on these duties for some time.

A Bollywood Life report suggests that all those who have joined the crew in Daman cannot return to Mumbai and that will also be true for the Himesh, Vishal and Neha if they chose to join the team there.

According to the report, everyone associated with the production is staying in a secure bio-bubble and are only allowed to travel to and from sets and not even allowed to wander.

These measures come as the Covid-19 cases continue to soar in the country and many TV personalities have already tested positive for Covid-19 including Indian Idol host Aditya Narayan and two of the show’s contestants.
