Indraneil Sengupta responds to rumours of his troubled marriage with Barkha Bisht assures all is well

Actor Indraneil Sengupta has responded to rumours of his marriage with actress Barkha Bisht hitting the rocks. There were reports alleging that Indraneil was having an affair with a woman in Kolkatta and that he and Brakha have been living separately.

Addressing these rumours, Indraneil made it abundantly clear that all is well between him and his wife and that he hasn’t been to Kolkatta since February let alone having an affair with someone there.

“I have heard rumours of such kind about Barkha and my marriage and I knew they will trickle to the media, but there’s nothing like that,” he told ETimes. When asked if him and Barkha having been living separately he said, “No, we are together.”

Finally, on rumours of having an affair, Indraneil told the publication, “I have heard this also. But for that to happen, I need to have gone to Kolkata. Right? I last went to Kolkata in February.” 

Despite Indraneil’s clarification, a source of the publication claimed that their marriage was in serious trouble while the actress remained unavailable to comment on the matter.

Indraneil and Barkha have been married for 13 years. They tied the knot in 2008 and have a nine-year-old daughter Meira.
